These 4 photos were my contribution to a group exhibition with three other Greenlandic artists.
We were asked to do our take on the famous Danish photographer Jette Bang, who through many years took photos of the Greenlandic people.
My take on her and her photos were her approach to her subjects. She had the power of calm and made the people around her feel at ease which then meant that the photos of the people she took photos of looked natural, even when they posed.
